Pre-School Fees
Due to an increase in running costs, West Wickham Pre-school will be increasing their fees to £7.50 per session from the 1st April 2009 for all children up to the age of three.
Early Years Funding Scheme:
Early Years Education funding is available the term after the child turns three. This means that any child who is over 3 years of age is entitled to free learning. Their pre-school fees are funded by your local Government. Under this scheme, these children are entitled to five sessions of 2.5 hours per week. Once your child becomes eligible, a member of staff will give you a form to complete and sign for Pre-school to claim these sessions from the Government.
More information on when your child is eligble, etc is available on DirectGov's Website
Payment of Fees:
Fees are paid in advance where payment is due at the beginning of each new half term. Cheques should be made payable to West
Wickham Pre-School. We can offer alternative methods of paying such as on-line banking. Bank account details will be listed on your invoice.
If you are on income support or need help in paying the preschool fees, please contact the Treasurer to enquire about the Social Inclusion Fund. Please be assured that any financial matters are kept strictly confidential.
Refunds:
Refunds are
not available if your child misses any of the sessions due to holiday or illness. Any child suffering with from a long-term
illness, prior arrangements can be made.
School
Outings:
Parents are
expected to pay for all school outings, however, any sessions missed due to a Pre-School outing, parents will not be charged.
Notice of
Withdrawals or Changes:
It is
preferred to receive written confirmation of any changes to a child’s attendance
or withdrawal from Pre-School with a terms notice. This must be passed to the staff who will
advise the appropriate committee members. This allows for future planning for sessions and opening of admission
places.
